Origin of the Logo
The idea for the logo "Share With All Dwellers" started one day when Mark was driving south on State Route 23 in south central Ohio, going to visit his mother. Mark was coming up over the Eastern Continental Divide, commonly called Divide Hill, in the area between where he was born Chillicothe, Ohio and where he moved in 2nd grade, Waverly, Ohio.
Mark noticed a large road sign that stated, “God Bless America", and he started thinking God bless America, God bless America, it dawned on him, why not God bless "The World". Yes, God Bless the World that's it, that's it. The wheels started churning in his head and the simple invention of his logo was set into motion.
At age 42 in the year 2001 Mark was at the crossroads of his spiritual path. Having lived in 5 different states and 3 different countries Mark was exposed to a lot of different cultures. But his path became more focused starting in 1998 when his friend Jim Sparks gave him a book. "Conversations with God" volume I, this had a profound impact on Mark’s life.
Mark had grown up Christian Baptist, in fact, he and his brothers sang in church when they were little kids. But, Mark was always searching for more; he wanted more answers than the Christian faith was giving him.
“I wasn't on page 5 in the book, Conversations with God, before I realized I was on to some answers" said Mark. “I learned that a lot of my natural feelings were correct and that a lot of what I had been taught here on earth was incorrect". This was enlightenment for Mark that was beyond expectation.
Mark has always wished for world peace. And he thought every human being on earth felt the same way. But, at this point in his life, he questioned whether or whether not people genuinely wanted peace. It seemed in conversations with others that most people had terms for the peace they were seeking, and that there was a barrier created in peoples minds based on where they lived or what they were taught. Mark understood this to be conditional love not unconditional love. Maybe this was the biggest reason for war and other forms of hatred? Mark thought, “Is there a difference between natural (instinct) thought and society based thought?”
Were the Bible, our education system, politics and other society based thoughts conflicting with natural thought? Is instinct more important than learning? Would instinctual based thought lead to peace? Does societal based thought lead to war?
What about cultures and religions outside of Western Culture? How do they deal with the concept of “God”?
Mark had been studying Jesus’ life and felt Jesus was the perfect role model. But, was the Bible’s portrayal of Jesus’ life accurate? Did people really get Jesus’ message?
Since 1998 Mark has discovered or found many sources ofinformation that follows a pattern of answers seemingly more natural. The information, in a way, found Mark. But, was this new information a society based concept or a spirit based concept?
During this period, Mark began experimenting with the concept of mediation and listening to his inner-guidance. This created new avenues of HAPPINESS directed opportunities. And the concept of approaching each situation in life, WITH HAPPINESS, as an answer became more of a useable tool. This, to Mark, was something he felt as farback as he could remember. But, he had lost this natural ability and was now about to regain the ability to use it again.
Mark often felt natural or Godly types of thoughts, as a child, but like most children felt compelled to obey. His culture was saying this, his parents were saying this, his school system was teaching this, and his religion was preaching this. Plus, Mark felt politicians were creating war in western culture. This all gave Mark a feeling of rebellion. Maybe Mark learned from the hippies of the 70s peace and love. What was wrong with that? Every Christmas you see the signs, “Peace on Earth good will toward men”. But, why only at Christmas time? Why don’t people think this all the time? Do people genuinely want peace? Can we learn to take peace to the next level? What is it going to take to get this concept going?
That is Mark’s mission!!! The concept is already in motion, Mark did not invent it. In fact, it is possibly the oldest concept there is. PEACE!!! LOVE!!! The idea is way older than the Bible. It’s been going on all over the World (not just western culture) since the beginning, if there was one. What is so hard about it? If only people focused on this thought. What would be created? What kind of newly developed HAPPINESS would that lead us to?
THIS MY FRIENDS IS IN A DIRECTION TOWARD GOD!!!!!!!!!
IT IS NATURAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THERE IS NO DOUBT!!!!!!!!
